Sx4-good for long drive

SX4 is drivers car.Arm rest at back is good when going for long drive. Space is well managed and even tall guy like 6’4″ didnot feel cram sitting at back. Boot space is amazing and big enough for all your bag and baggage. As I mention in Mileage section this car come with high gear ratio and hence driving at high speed at low gear is not problem. Honestly you will feel like seating in SUV when you seat in this car . You love this car on highway. Easily go to 160 kmph which out any hassel. Braking is amazing. ABS look effective even the tail is high and car is bulky.
When I say this is best petrol car for highway .this is a reliable car.there is no doubt in that.his is the most important section and I would like to give you all detail. I’m getting 12kmpl in city drive. Since SX4 comes with High gear ratio (9.25) hence you can drive car up 60kmph in second gear without any raves on engine. But I shift it under 50kmph. Driving under 2000 rmp gives you better mileage which is wrong conception.

If you really like better fuel efficiency then car should always be driven in between 2000 to 3500 RPM. Because if you are driving petrol car not high end diesel. The oil compression ratio for diesel car is high then petrol car hence diesel car produce more torque at low RPM. If you drive your car under 2000 RPM then actually lots of fuel get waste as because they left unburn.

Here what I will recomend drive SX4 in between 2000 to 3000 RPM in general city condition . On highway you can stretch up to 3500 to 4000 RPM but only if can accelerate smoothly i.e give time to your car before it reach 140/150 kmph from 110kmph. I bet even driving at high speed you will going to get better mileage.

this car gives you optimum space ideal for family of four , but you can Maruti Suzuki SX4 5 people fit easily . Boot space is sufficient even if you plan to place sub -boofer and other music gizmo.
